The Executive Committee is composed of the four primary officers of the ILFMA board (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer). Only officers of the ILFMA Board may participate on the Executive Committee.
The Finance Committee supports ILFMA’s financial responsibilities to the Internal Revenue Service, grantors, partners, sponsors, members, and other contributors. Individuals with appropriate experience should complete a committee application.
The Fundraising Committee is championed with long-range planning activities that include grant applications, fundraising campaigns, annual appeals, non-dues revenue and funding prospects. Individuals with appropriate fundraising experience should complete a committee application.
The Membership Committee ensures that ILFMA is recruiting, retaining, and serving the dynamic needs of its members. Individuals with appropriate experience should complete a committee application.
The Education Committee coordinates all the educational offerings scheduled annually by ILFMA such as; webinars, workshops, tours, vendor fairs, annual statewide conference, market manager certificate program, and other initiatives. Individuals with a broad range of skills are encouraged to complete a committee application.
The Marketing Committee works to develop a comprehensive communications program to market and promote the Illinois Farmers Market Association's accomplishments; its achievements to the membership and the community; and increase recognition and support for the Illinois farmers market community locally, regionally, and nationally. Professional graphic design, copywriting, social media experience, etc. are welcomed. Individuals with a broad range of skills are encouraged to complete a committee application.
