The Illinois Farmers Market Association is looking to add a social media intern to our small but MIGHTY team!


The social media intern plans and implements social media strategies in order to promote ILFMA’s mission online. Responsibilities include updating ILFMA’s social media sites with relevant content and tracking audience engagement. The Social Media Intern also collaborates with ILFMA’s Marketing Committee to prioritize important projects and give feedback on social media activity. The ideal candidate is familiar with social media, has strong communication skills, and passion for local food.


This position is remote and typically requires a commitment of 5 -10 hours per week. The Social Media Intern reports to the Executive Director. This position is unpaid.


Start immediately and internship is for the 2018-2019 school year, however can be extended.
